Joe Steward raced in the Senior Boys race at the English Schools Championships at Donnington Park on 15th March. Joe ran brilliantly finishing a superb 3rd position in a time of 23.41 only 15 seconds behind the winner. Other notable East Cheshire performances came from Tom McGuinness finishing 154th also in the senior boys event and Louie Haynes finishing a solid 40th position in the Junior Boys event.
After Joe’s performance in the English Schools race he was selected to represent the North of England in the Home Countries International at Wollaton Park on the 22nd March. He had another fantastic race in his last Cross Country race for the season finishing 2nd place, well done Joe on a brilliant season.
