The annual Saddleworth Fell Race took place yesterday on the 25th May. The senior race is over 3 miles with 950ft worth of climbing, and the junior races are ran over a shorter distance. There was a good ECH turnout, especially from the juniors. In the under 12 race Abby O’Neil was the first girl to cross the line and 4th overall, Jake Smith 5th, Megan Lewis 6th (2nd girl) and Luke Taylor finished 9th overall. George Lewis finished 3rd overall in the under 16 race and Martin Lewis finished the tough senior race in 47th place with 33.42. Great effort by all, well done.
