Day 1
Excellent day for our athletes in the Northern Indoor Champs at Sheffield, lots of personal bests (PBs) and final appearances. Two more PBs for Chloe Skidmore in 60 hurdles and 60m, one for Sam Shawcross and a great run in the 60m final, and an indoor PB for Mike Coogan. Regan Walker reached the 60m hurdles final, while John Trotman produced a strong finish to get in the 400m final where he again ran well. Alex Green was happy with his efforts in reaching the 60m semi finals.
Day 2
A great day two of the Northern Indoor Championships at Sheffield, culminating in a fabulous ten minutes where two silver medals were won. First John Trotman produced a great late charge to take 800m silver in a huge PB time of 2.02.64, then Regan Walker showed true grit to power through to silver in the 200m in 25.70, a great effort given a cold and interrupted prep for the event. Fine runs also from Sam Shawcross and Alex Green to reach the 200m semi finals and perform well in hot company. Well done all, be proud, we are!
