The Manchester League cross country resumed after the new year at Boggart Hole Clough with some outstanding performances especially from Joe Steward and Patrick Gardiner again coming 3rd and 4th in a very strong field. Joe and Patrick have both got their eyes on the national cross country championship in Nottingham in February.
The course had been revived but conditions were once again hard going due to the muddy conditions, but spare a thought for our Spanish brothers who had to endure their cross country this weekend, all that dust.
