Due to the ever-decreasing support for the Christmas Fun Run it has been decided not to bother with it this year. Instead, to add a bit of Christmas cheer, on the last night of club opening (Thursday 22nd) there will be informal festivities in the bar after training. There will be a selection box available for all junior members who come into the bar to claim one (subject to availability and first-come, first-served [while stocks last]) with mulled wine, mince pies and nibbles for the adults. We can also present the annual club awards on that occasion. Members can stay for as long or short a time as they wish, but the clubhouse will stay open no later than 10pm (hopefully most of the schools will have broken up and so no school next day). It might also be nice if some juniors (and senior ‘big kids’) wore fancy dress (no prizes).
