East Chesh got off to a great start in their first home match of the Cheshire League programme on Sunday the 21st April. The mens team and the womens team comfortably winning the meeting the men with 191 points and the women with 148 against 5 other clubs including Manchester Harriers and Dash AC.

This is one of the few occasions where juniors can compete in the same competition as seniors and it gives an opportunity for first timers to taste track and field competitions. Our track and field was in good hands with Bethany Hirsts posting 10.30m in the triple jump along side Laren Alford 10.27m. Jack Mirfin won the shot put with a throw of 11.86m.
The club dominated the mid distances with excellent performances from debutants Scott Mottram and Karl Herod
