Over-seas ECH athlete Lee Grantham took part in the Anglo Celtic Plate on 21st May which incorporated the National 100k championships. The race took place at Patrington Haven near Hull and Lee was representing England competing against Scotland and Wales. The course consisted of four out and back laps of 25km consisting of narrow country lanes.
Lee lead from the start and pushed the pace on at 80km to drop the other fading athletes. Lee went on to win in a magnificent time of 6.42.42 which puts him 6th on the UK all time list! To top it off England won the team event and regained the Anglo Celtic Plate.
