The North West road relays took place on Saturday 13th September at Woodbank Park in Stockport. East Cheshire had many teams entered in different age categories, well done to all who competed and put their best effort in for the team.
Special mention goes to the under 13 girl’s team (Abby O’Neil, Alyssa Davey and Holly Jackson)Â who finished 4th overall, which was good enough for the Bronze medal in Greater Manchester. The senior men’s team also ran brilliantly for 3rd place in Greater Manchester and 7th overall. The team consisted of Joe Steward, Joe Hudak, Patrick Gardiner and Tom McGuinness, with Joe Steward running the joint 3rd fastest leg of the day.
