The annual Wilmslow half marathon took place on Sunday 3rd April, with plenty of East Cheshire runners taking to the course.
First home was Scott Matthews having a great run and getting a new personal best time of 1.16.42 finishing in 40th place. Not far behind was ever present Gary Matthews in 66th position but 1st Vet 55 with a time of 1.19.15, a fantastic achievement. Chris Swire had a good run in 178th place with a time of 1.25.37.
Janine Ridgard was first ECH female back in 641st overall but 7th in her vet 50 age category with a time of 1.38.36 Tracy Gibson wasn’t far behind with a time of 1.40.39 in 754th position and 9th in her vet 45 category. Andrea Edwards was 3rd abck from ECH with a time of 1.53.53 in 1706th position overall.
